Why do you have a blog?

This is a very fair question. Why does the internet need another voice? Am I really that special? No, not really, but I've run into plenty of security, general tech, and maybe some cooking challenges and I know that I would have liked some pointers when dealing with them. I'd also like more practice with creative/instructive writing and I know the only way to get better is to write more.
